André Chabaneix
Principal
André Chabaneix is a climate and energy investor turned strategic finance advisor, with 14 years of experience spanning venture capital, project finance, and energy consulting. He has backed more than 20 companies from seed through growth stage across energy storage, carbon capture, advanced manufacturing, grid software, and industrial decarbonization, working directly with founders and executive teams on strategy, fundraising, and financial planning.
Earlier in his career André developed over 5 GW of utility-scale solar and storage at Avantus and advised utilities and governments on energy strategy at Navigant. He holds a BS and MEng in Chemical Engineering from Cornell and an MBA from UC Berkeley.
Today André works with climate startups as a fractional strategic finance partner, helping founders navigate fundraising strategy, financial modeling, capital allocation, and the key decisions that shape a company's trajectory.
Originally from Lima, Peru, André has spent the last two decades working across the US, Europe, and Latin America, bringing a unique international perspective to the founders and teams he works with.
